As a full time darts professional, it entails travelling around the world attending the open tournaments to collect world ranking points to qualify for the major TV tournaments. The season 2012-2013 I ended as number 5 on BDO ranking.

 

To enable me to do this, it would require funding of up to £20,000 to play the circuit for a year. For a fully or part funded sponsorship package, it will provide your company advertisement on my dart shirts for all my tournaments, exhibitions, presentations, TV tournaments and on my homepage

There are currently 4 televised tournaments annually, with discussions ongoing to add more. These tournaments will offer close up advertising of your brand on every throw. Other non televised tournaments are sent on live stream via the internet for everyone to watch. A new tournament Super 12 coming during 2014 and will be broadcasted in UK & Netherlands.

 

 

In addition, I would be happy to stage exhibitions for your company and your employers or customers/clients. Tickets for TV tournaments would also be available. And I will also be of assistance in helping you to promote your company in any way you find suitable.

 

The sponsorship can also be divided between 3 sponsors. 1 for £10.000 which includes all tv tournaments, world ranking events, exhibitions and promotions etc. 2 for £5.000 that will include everything above except the Lakeside World Championships where I am only allowed 1 sponsor badge.

 

 

ACHIEVEMENTS

 

To date, I have won 16 World ranked tournaments, including the Zuiderduin Masters in Holland, which was my 1st major tv event win, (www.zuiderduinmasters.nl) where I also hit a 9 dart finish that was seen live on TV. This can be viewed at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1pvsUS4XYk . Also been runner up and semi finalist in many other events. Just came back from Hull and the Winmau World Masters where I reached the semi final. It was broadcast on Eurosport all over the world.

In 2004 I had the highest three-dart average of 114.15 in a single match. This was the highest three-dart average on a televised tournament for 4 years until it was beaten in 2008 by Phil Taylor at the UK Open with an average of 114.53.

In 2007 I was voted most popular Darts player in a Dutch Darts Magazine (Grand Slam Darts)

 

From June 2013 I started to play soft tip darts on the organisation Dartslive (www.dartlive.com). I reached the quarterfinal in my first event in La Rochelle France and last 64 in my second attempt in Las Veges. Next venture will be Hong Kong end of October followed by the Dartslive world finals to be held in Hong Kong in December. This will be via live stream on Dartslive.tv.

 

I have played for England on numerous occasions and played both Europe and World cup. And I have been the captain for Cheshire’s county team.

My ambition is to win the Lakeside World Championship which is very special for everyone who plays the BDO circuit. I have been considering transferring to the PDC but the desire to win the Lakeside World Championship has taken preference, as I feel that I have a very good chance to fulfil my ambition.
